Colombo: On Wednesday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri landed in Colombo for a one-day official engagement aimed at enhancing the enduring partnership between India and Sri Lanka.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by Santosh Jha, the Indian High Commissioner in Colombo, along with senior officials from the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry.
During his stay, Misri is expected to hold discussions with key figures including President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, and Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath, as confirmed by the Indian High Commission in Colombo. The visit is set to build on the regular high-level interactions between the two nations, reinforcing their close bilateral relations and advancing significant initiatives.
