PM Kisan 23rd Installment Today: The eagerly anticipated 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme has been officially released today, providing crucial financial aid to farmers nationwide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to transfer the next Rs 2,000 installment to qualified beneficiaries during an event in Tarakeswar, located in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, on June 20, 2026. This latest payment cycle is projected to assist over 9.44 crore farmers, with the Union government allocating Rs 18,880 crore for this flagship income support initiative. According to the official website, “The Hon’ble Prime Minister will release the 23rd installment of the PM-Kisan on 20th June 2026 from Tarakeswar, Hooghly, West Bengal.” As per the information available on the PM-KISAN portal, farmers can expect to receive their installment starting from 3:45 PM. The event will also be broadcast live on the government platform pmevents.mygov.in.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farming families are entitled to receive annual financial support of Rs 6,000, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The previous installment was credited on March 13, 2026, when the government transferred Rs 18,640 crore to over 9.35 crore beneficiaries, including support for more than 2.15 crore women farmers. Farmers can monitor their payment status, Aadhaar linkage, land records, eligibility, and e-KYC through the Know Your Status (KYS) feature available on the PM-KISAN portal.
Steps To Check PM Kisan 23rd Installment Status
Farmers who wish to confirm whether the latest installment has been credited can follow these steps:
- Visit the PM-KISAN website at pmkisan.gov.in.
- Go to the “Farmer’s Corner” section.
- Select the “Know Your Status” option.
- Input your registration number along with the security code.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- View the payment and beneficiary status displayed on the screen.
Individuals who registered independently or through Common Services Centres (CSC) can also check their records by selecting the “Status of Self Registered Farmer/CSC Farmers” option and entering their Aadhaar number and security code.
How To Find Your Name In The Beneficiary List
Eligible farmers can verify their names in the beneficiary database via the PM-KISAN portal. To do this:
- Access the PM-KISAN website.
- Select “Beneficiary List” under the Farmers Corner section.
- Fill in the necessary details, including state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
- Click “Get Report” to view the list of beneficiaries for the chosen village.
