OMFED Increases Milk Prices: What You Need to Know

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited (OMFED) has announced an increase in milk prices for various types, with hikes reaching up to Rs 4 per litre as of Sunday.
The cost of toned milk has risen from Rs 50 to Rs 54 per litre, while Premium milk now costs Rs 58, up from Rs 54. Additionally, Gold Premium milk has seen an increase from Rs 56 to Rs 60 per litre. The highest tier, Gold Premium Plus, is now priced at Rs 64 per litre, a rise from Rs 60. For half-litre packets of these categories, the price has gone up by Rs 2.
It's important to note that OMFED has also raised the milk procurement price for dairy farmers by Rs 1 per litre, effective from May 1, 2026.
