In the wake of the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, the government has intensified its outreach to investors both domestically and internationally to stimulate investments and foster industrial development. The dual approach of groundbreaking and inaugurating projects aims to expedite project execution and commissioning, transforming investment proposals into actual industrial capabilities and economic advantages. The 46 projects encompass a diverse array of sectors, including steel and metals, chemicals, renewable energy, food processing, biofuels, textiles and apparel, electronics and IT services, logistics and warehousing, tourism and hospitality, industrial gases, infrastructure, rubber and plastics, shipbuilding and repair, power storage, refractories, circular economy, and healthcare.

These initiatives will be distributed across 14 districts: Anugola, Baragada, Baleshwar, Boudh, Kataka, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendujhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Puri, Sambalpur, and Sundaragada. Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that investment pledges materialize into real projects, job opportunities, and enhanced livelihoods. "Our aim is not just to attract investments but to ensure they lead to tangible projects, job creation, and improved living standards. Through ongoing investor engagement and effective project facilitation, we are dedicated to strengthening Odisha's industrial framework and ensuring that growth benefits our citizens," Swain stated.

Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary for Industries, Home, and Information & Public Relations, highlighted that successful implementation is crucial for investment promotion. "The true measure of investment promotion success lies in how well we implement these projects. We are committed to facilitating projects, meeting investor needs, and enhancing coordination to ensure that investments bolster industrial capacity, create jobs, and foster local economic development. The upcoming ceremony showcases Odisha's ongoing efforts to convert investment commitments into real results," Sharma remarked.

Under CM Majhi's leadership, Odisha has successfully grounded 116 projects and inaugurated 35, bringing the total to 151 projects. These initiatives represent a cumulative investment of ₹3,11,722.46 crore and are expected to generate around 2,40,697 jobs.
