Tampering with the Meter

In some cases, fuel pump owners and employees may install an electronic chip in the machine to show a full amount on the meter while providing less fuel to the customer.

Unauthorized Synthetic Oil Filling

Certain petrol stations may fill your vehicle with synthetic oil instead of regular fuel without asking. Synthetic oil is typically 5 to 10 percent more expensive than regular oil, leading to higher charges for customers. Always instruct the pump attendant clearly before refueling.
