New Delhi, Oct 7: Bharti Airtel, a prominent player in the telecom sector, has unveiled updated postpaid plans for its customers, which will see a price increase of approximately 3-10 percent starting Thursday.

In addition to the price adjustments, the new plans come with a complimentary international roaming feature.

This international roaming package includes 5GB of data, 60 minutes of outgoing calls, 25 outgoing SMS, and free incoming SMS, all valid for a duration of five days, as stated in a filing by the company.

The revised pricing structure starts at Rs 499 per month for individual users and goes up to Rs 1,799 for family plans that accommodate up to five SIM cards.

Furthermore, each SIM will be entitled to one free international roaming trip annually, which includes unlimited data and calling options.

Amit Tripathi, Director of Market Operations at Bharti Airtel, emphasized that their focus on postpaid services is to provide an unparalleled experience in the Indian market.

The individual plan has seen a price rise from Rs 449 to Rs 499, while the family plan that was previously priced at Rs 699 is now available for Rs 749, covering two SIMs.

Additionally, the Rs 999 plan will now cost Rs 1,049 for three SIMs, and for four SIMs, the prices will be Rs 1,249 and Rs 1,449 respectively.

For five SIMs, customers will pay Rs 1,799, which includes a subscription to Netflix Standard.

These plans also incorporate Airtel's features for spam and fraud prevention.

Starting Thursday, these updated postpaid plans will be accessible to all customers opting for Airtel Postpaid services.

Current Airtel users, whether on older postpaid plans or prepaid, can seamlessly transition to these new offerings.
