Which locations will see bank closures? According to the official list, bank branches will be closed in major cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kanpur, Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Bhopal, Nagpur, Jammu, Srinagar, Belapur, Agartala, and Aizawl.

Where will banks remain operational? In contrast, banks will operate as usual in cities where Muharram is not recognized as a bank holiday, such as Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Kochi, Kohima, Panaji, Shillong, and Thiruvananthapuram.
