Recent announcements have confirmed planned visits to cities such as Lucknow, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. Notably, the Lucknow meeting, set for June 22-23, 2026, is anticipated to be one of the most significant consultation events in this phase. The notification regarding this visit was posted on the official 8th Pay Commission website on May 21, 2026.


This ongoing effort is viewed as a crucial step in shaping future pay revision proposals that could impact over 1.1 crore central government employees and pensioners across the country.
