
Ghee, moong dal, wheat flour, sugar, saffron water, cardamom powder, cashews, and raisins.
Rinse the moong dal and set it aside for preparation.
Sauté dal in ghee, then pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
Heat ghee and roast wheat flour until it becomes aromatic.
Add dal paste to roasted flour, cooking until well mixed.
Mix in sugar and cook for 20-25 minutes until dissolved.
Stir in saffron water for added flavor and color.
Your delicious Ashoka Halwa is ready to be served.
