Salah Surpasses Gerrard's Assist Record

Mohamed Salah has officially become Liverpool's all-time leader in Premier League assists, surpassing the legendary Steven Gerrard during the Reds' final match of the 2025-26 season against Brentford at Anfield on Sunday. The Liverpool forward, wearing the No. 11 jersey, assisted Curtis Jones, bringing his total to 93 assists in the Premier League, thus breaking Gerrard's previous record of 92.

This achievement was highlighted in what marked his last game of the season, showcasing his ongoing creative prowess for the Merseyside team. Salah's latest assist also places him joint-sixth on the all-time Premier League assist leaderboard with a total of 94 assists, tying with former Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp, which includes one assist from his Chelsea days. The Egyptian winger has been a standout performer for Liverpool since his arrival, consistently climbing the Premier League record charts and adding yet another milestone to his illustrious career.

Salah's Departure from Liverpool

In March, Salah revealed his decision to leave Liverpool after an impressive nine-year tenure at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
