An outstanding unbeaten century from Parth Goswami propelled the Bundelkhand Bulls to a six-wicket triumph over the Bhopal Leopards during the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026, held at the Daly College Ground in Indore on Monday.
Verma's Blitz Powers Leopards
Bhopal Leopards batted first, setting a challenging target of 197 runs for the Bulls. Despite early wickets, Himanshu Shinde and captain Aniket Verma formed a crucial partnership. Shinde finished with an unbeaten 57 runs off 37 balls, while Verma showcased his explosive batting with an impressive 85 not out from just 39 balls, including five fours and nine sixes. Their efforts were vital in lifting the Leopards to a strong total after a shaky start at 62/3 in the 11th over.
Bulls' Chase Anchored by Goswami
In response, the Bundelkhand Bulls faced an early challenge when captain Abhishek Pathak was dismissed for a mere one run. However, Harsh Gawali steadied the innings with a valuable contribution of 37 runs off 31 balls. The chase was dominated by Parth Goswami, who delivered a remarkable performance, remaining unbeaten on 101 runs from 53 balls, hitting nine fours and six sixes at a strike rate exceeding 190. Bhumesh Muzalda supported him well, scoring an unbeaten 29 runs off 13 balls, as the Bulls successfully chased down the target, finishing at 201/4 in just 18.5 overs.

In another match of the day, the Chambal Ghariyals faced off against the Ujjain Falcons in a high-scoring contest at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, with Chambal emerging victorious by a narrow margin of 7 runs.

Chambal Ghariyals batted first, amassing a formidable total of 199/7 in their 20 overs. Captain Shubham Sharma led the charge with a brilliant half-century, supported by significant contributions from Tripuresh Singh, Rohit Gupta, and Aman Bhadoriya. Despite losing an early wicket, the Ghariyals steadied their innings with a 55-run partnership between wicketkeeper-batter Apurve Dwivedi and Sharma.
