A Humorous Moment Post-Match

In Visakhapatnam, following India's decisive win against South Africa, a light-hearted video featuring Virat Kohli and pacer Arshdeep Singh was shared on the Punjab Kings' social media account. The match saw India successfully limit South Africa to 270 runs, thanks to impressive four-wicket performances from Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav.

During the chase, openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma formed a formidable partnership, contributing 155 runs for the first wicket. Jaiswal achieved a century, scoring 116 not out off 121 balls, while Rohit added 75 runs. Kohli finished the innings with a brisk 65 runs off 45 balls.

Kohli entered this match on the back of two consecutive centuries in the series. In the amusing video, Arshdeep teased Kohli, suggesting that had the target been higher, Kohli would have secured a third century.

Arshdeep joked, "Paaji, run kam rehgaye, century aaj pakki thi waise (Brother, the target wasn’t big enough, otherwise a century seemed certain)." Kohli humorously replied, "Toss jeet gaye, nahi toh teri bhi pakki thi dew mein (Be thankful we won the toss or even you would have been hit for a century in the dew!)."

The dew factor played a significant role in the match, as India opted to bowl first. As the game progressed, the moisture made it challenging for the South African bowlers.

In their innings, South Africa lost Ryan Rickelton for a duck, but a solid 113-run partnership between Quinton de Kock (106 off 89 balls) and captain Temba Bavuma (48 off 67 balls) steadied the ship. De Kock also shared a 54-run partnership with Matthew Breetzke (24 off 23 balls). However, after reaching 234 for 5, they collapsed to 270 all out, with Krishna and Kuldeep wreaking havoc.

India completed the chase in 39.5 overs, with Rohit and Jaiswal's partnership setting the tone for a dominant series victory.
