Charges Against Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy

New Delhi, November 21: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that USA cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy is facing three serious charges related to violations of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. This action is taken on behalf of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).

The allegations stem from the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 2025 tournament held in the UAE. The ICC, serving as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO) for this event, has laid out these charges as per their official guidelines.

The first charge, under Article 2.1.1, involves attempts to fix or improperly influence the outcome or conduct of matches in the ADT10 2025.

Article 2.1.4 addresses soliciting or encouraging another participant to breach the aforementioned article during the tournament.

Additionally, Article 2.4.7 pertains to obstructing the DACO's investigation by deleting potentially relevant data and messages from a mobile device. Following these allegations, Reddy has been provisionally suspended from all cricket activities and has 14 days from November 21, 2025, to respond to the charges.

The ICC has stated that no further comments will be made until the disciplinary proceedings are completed.

At just 25 years old, Reddy made his international debut earlier this year, participating in four T20Is for the USA during the North America T20 Cup. He now faces a critical period to address the charges against him.
