Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) [India], May 24: The Ujjain Falcons, a new addition to the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 2026, have kicked off their preparations with the squad gathering for initial training sessions this week.

As one of the three new franchises introduced this season, the Ujjain Falcons are entering the tournament with a fresh perspective, youthful vigor, and a strong ambition to make a significant impact, according to a recent announcement.

The team, featuring a blend of promising domestic players and the emerging IPL talent Madhav Tiwari (who is expected to join shortly), has commenced rigorous practice sessions as both players and coaching staff ready themselves for the eagerly awaited season opener.

Vinayak Kalani, the promoter of Ujjain Falcons, shared insights on the team's preparations and aspirations, expressing optimism about the squad's potential and emphasizing a winning mentality as they approach the tournament.

Madhav Tiwari, fresh off a successful season with the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, is anticipated to be a standout player for the Falcons this season. The skilled fast-bowling all-rounder has garnered acclaim for his bold playing style and ability to clinch matches.

Coached by former Madhya Pradesh cricketer Sunil Dholpure, the team benefits from his extensive experience and understanding of the local cricket landscape.

The Ujjain Falcons will kick off their MPL T20 2026 journey against the Gwalior Cheetahs on June 3 at the renowned Holkar Stadium.
