In a press release, it was noted that Murshidabad Kueens showcased a strong team effort, defeating Novus Royals Purulia by 50 runs. After being invited to bat first, the Kueens steadily built their innings before accelerating to achieve a tournament-high score of 160/4.

Kashish Agarwal was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 43 runs, while captain Tanushree Sarkar contributed significantly with 39 runs. Jahanbi Raj Paswan added a crucial 24, and Prativa Rana finished the innings with an explosive unbeaten 21, helping Murshidabad conclude their innings on a high note. For Purulia, Chandrima Biswas, Diya Nandi, and Supriti Roy took wickets.

The chase proved challenging for Novus Royals Purulia following the early exit of their captain Dhara Gujjar. The bowlers from Murshidabad maintained relentless pressure, taking wickets at regular intervals. Toriya Singha Roy fought valiantly with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 50 off 37 balls, but her efforts fell short as Purulia could not reach the target. Jahanbi Raj Paswan excelled with the ball, claiming 2 wickets for just 16 runs, while Sinjini Sarkar and Sanaya Mondal also contributed with wickets.

The second match of the day saw Medinipur Wizards capitalize on a rain-affected game, winning by eight wickets against Shrachi Rarh Tigers using the DLS method.

Shrachi Rarh Tigers began their innings strongly with Bristi Maji scoring 29 off 19 balls, but they struggled to maintain their momentum after her dismissal. Captain Piyali Ghosh managed to hold the innings together with a score of 31, leading to the Tigers being bowled out for 102 in 18.4 overs. The Wizards' spin trio of Salma Khatoon, Rupa Dutta, and Soumi Roy combined to take six wickets, effectively controlling the scoring.

Following rain interruptions, the target was revised to 88 runs in 16 overs, which the Wizards approached with confidence. Sweta Singh set a solid foundation with 38 runs, while Adrija Sarkar remained steady at the other end, finishing with an unbeaten 30. Their combined efforts ensured that Medinipur Wizards reached the target comfortably in just 14.1 overs, securing an eight-wicket victory.
