Erling Haaland Secures Third Premier League Golden Boot with 27 Goals
Haaland's Remarkable Achievement
London [UK], May 24: Erling Haaland has once again clinched the Premier League Golden Boot, marking his third win in four seasons, finishing the latest campaign with an impressive 27 goals, five ahead of Brentford's Igor Thiago, who took second place.
This season has been another outstanding one for the Manchester City forward, who has consistently topped the league's scoring charts since his arrival in England in 2022, according to the Manchester City website.
In his debut season, Haaland set a record with 36 goals, followed by another 27 goals in the subsequent season, and he has matched that tally once more this year.
Only Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah have won this accolade more frequently than Haaland, each with four wins, while Alan Shearer and Harry Kane have also achieved three victories.
Haaland is the only player to have won the Golden Boot multiple times, with Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov sharing the award in the 2010/11 season, and Sergio Aguero scoring 26 goals in 2014/15.
To date, Haaland has netted an incredible 112 goals in just 132 Premier League matches, showcasing his exceptional goal-scoring ability.
In December 2025, he became the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 100 goals, accomplishing this feat in only 111 matches, which is 13 games fewer than the previous record held by Alan Shearer.
