During his visit to the prominent health facility, Nadda emphasized the importance of this new service for burn victims, stating, "This essential facility will gather skin from donors within six hours post-mortem, enabling life-saving skin grafts for severe burn patients and reducing reliance on centers located in Mumbai and Bengaluru."

He further remarked, "This initiative will not only enhance survival rates but also significantly improve the quality of life for patients in Odisha and surrounding regions."

Additionally, the Minister inaugurated a modern Central Research Laboratory, which is expected to drive medical innovation and translational research.

"This lab will serve as a hub for scientific breakthroughs and pave the way for groundbreaking treatments and healthcare advancements," said Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Biswas, noting the lab's potential to elevate AIIMS Bhubaneswar's status in national and international research.

While laying the foundation for a new multi-utility and gastronomy block, Nadda reiterated the government's dedication to comprehensive development.

This block will provide vital services for students, faculty, staff, and the public, enhancing convenience and operational efficiency.

As part of the institute's digital upgrade, the Minister also launched a revamped AIIMS Bhubaneswar website, which features patient-focused services and showcases Odisha's rich cultural heritage.

The new portal aims to simplify access to healthcare services for both patients and visitors.

Nadda also inaugurated the EHS (Employees Health Service) Clinic and AMRIT Pharmacy, further enhancing the availability of affordable medications and essential services.

During his visit, he toured the advanced Burn Centre, Swachhata Exhibition at the OPD Foyer, Integrated Health & Wellness Clinic, Rheumatology & Geriatric Clinic, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). He also planted a tree at Smruti Upavan, symbolizing a commitment to a healthier and greener future.

Nadda took the time to engage with medical students, sanitary staff, and other personnel, offering words of encouragement and appreciation.
