In a heartbreaking incident late Saturday night, a 56-year-old accountant named Ghisalal Sharma, who worked at the Secretariat, took his own life in the Karni Vihar area. Prior to his death, he penned a three-page suicide note and shared a photo of it in a community WhatsApp group.


Police Response

Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and sent it to the Kanwatia Hospital morgue for an autopsy. According to the investigating officer, Sub-Inspector Kaluram, the deceased lived with his wife in Rajni Vihar. Their two sons, Himanshu and Yash, are employed in Gujarat and Gurugram, respectively.


Family's Reaction

On Sunday morning, family members received the suicide note and the WhatsApp message, prompting them to rush home. They found the room locked from the inside, and upon breaking down the door, discovered Ghisalal hanging.
