Student Found Dead in Hostel

A 25-year-old student pursuing a Master of Computer Applications reportedly took his own life in a hostel located near Greater Noida. The deceased, identified as Krishnakant from Jharkhand, was discovered by police in his hostel room on Saturday.

Suicide Note Reveals Despair

Authorities found a suicide note in Krishnakant's room, where he expressed his feelings of defeat by stating, 'I give up.' He also requested that his body and belongings be returned to his family, apologizing for the distress he caused.

Roommate's Alarm Leads to Discovery

Initial investigations revealed that Krishnakant was a second-year student sharing his room with another student. On Saturday, he did not attend college and informed his roommate that he would return later. In the afternoon, Krishnakant's father called his roommate, urging him to check on Krishnakant, fearing he might harm himself. The roommate quickly gathered other students from the hostel. Upon arrival, they found the door locked from the inside. They forced the door open and discovered Krishnakant hanging, prompting them to alert the police.

Roommate Reports Health Issues

The roommate informed the police that Krishnakant had been struggling with a medical issue that troubled him. He described Krishnakant as an excellent student. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
