In a tragic incident early Tuesday morning, a roof collapse at the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, resulted in the deaths of at least 15 individuals and left over 100 others injured, according to local authorities.


Rescue teams are actively searching through the debris for any possible survivors, as stated by Juan Manuel Méndez, the director of the Center of Emergency Operations.


Méndez expressed hope, saying, “We believe that many may still be alive, and our efforts will continue until we ensure that no one is left trapped beneath the rubble.”
