According to another officer, locals mentioned that Naveen Kushwaha was well-liked in the community and had previously run for both Lok Sabha and assembly elections.
Some relatives of the deceased suggested that Tanu Priya may have fallen down the stairs, leading to her death. They also speculated that Naveen might have fallen while trying to save her, and that Mala Devi suffered a cardiac arrest upon learning of their deaths.
