Fatal Accident in Bidar District

On Wednesday morning, a tragic accident in Bidar district of Karnataka resulted in the deaths of three individuals following a collision between a car and a courier service vehicle, according to police reports.


The deceased have been identified as Rachappa (57), Naveen (30), and Nagaraj (38), all residents of Narayan Khed Taluk in Telangana's Sangareddy district.


The incident occurred around 7:30 AM near Neelamandi Tanda in Bhalki Taluk, as the victims were returning from a visit to the Shri Dattatreya Temple in Kalaburagi district.


Details of the Collision

A senior police officer indicated that preliminary investigations revealed the accident happened when a car carrying five people was turning towards the Bidar-Kalaburagi highway via Humanabad, colliding with the courier vehicle.


Tragically, all three victims died at the scene, while two other passengers in the car and the driver of the Bolero sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Bidar. The police have confirmed that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
