Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Teenagers in North Delhi
Fatal Collision in North Delhi
Two teenagers riding a motorcycle were tragically killed when a car reportedly collided with them while they were en route to a wedding in North Delhi's Bawana Road. This incident was confirmed by the police on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old Yashodan from Shahbad Dairy and 18-year-old Ansh from Rohini Sector-35. The accident occurred around 11:40 PM on Friday when a car coming from Bawana allegedly struck their motorcycle.
Authorities have identified the driver of the car as 22-year-old Akash, also a resident of Shahbad Dairy, who is employed at an online e-commerce platform. He has been referred to RML Hospital for medical treatment.
The police have registered a case under sections 281(1) (reckless driving) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
