"In recent weeks, there has been a lot of speculation about my personal life, and I feel it's necessary to clarify the situation. I value my privacy and wish to maintain it, but I must confirm that the wedding is no longer happening," Mandhana stated.

"I would like to put this matter to rest and urge everyone to do the same. Please respect the privacy of both families during this time and allow us the space to process and move forward at our own pace," she added.

"I believe there is a greater purpose guiding us all, and for me, that has always been representing my country at the highest level. I aim to continue playing and winning trophies for India for as long as I can, and that will always be my focus. Thank you for your support. It's time to move on," she concluded.

Smriti Mandhana, a key figure in Indian cricket and a recent World Cup champion, was scheduled to marry Palash Muchhal on November 23 in a private ceremony. The wedding festivities were set to include traditional events like Mehendi, Haldi, and Sangeet.

However, the situation took a turn when allegations of infidelity surfaced against Muchhal. His family has denied these claims and criticized those spreading false information about the music composer.
