Saina Nehwal, the former badminton star, has expressed admiration for her fellow player PV Sindhu, emphasizing their shared aggressive playing styles. Nehwal pointed out that Sindhu's height provides her with a significant advantage on the court. Although Nehwal has retired, she remains optimistic about Sindhu's fitness and hopes for her continued success in competitions.


Nehwal remarked, "Both Sindhu and I have a strong attacking game. Her height is a major asset, allowing her to reach the shuttlecock quickly. Fortunately, she has kept herself in excellent shape, and I wish for her to maintain her previous level of performance."


She also mentioned the upcoming changes to the ranking points system, stating, "Next year, the ranking points will shift to a 15x3 format, which will undoubtedly benefit players. The key to our success has been our relentless attitude; our skills in rallying and smashing have always been strong."
