Mullanpur: In an exciting IPL encounter on Tuesday, young opener Priyansh Arya achieved his first century in the tournament, leading the Punjab Kings to an 18-run victory against the Chennai Super Kings.


Choosing to bat first, Arya's explosive performance helped PBKS reach a total of 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.


He scored an impressive 103 runs off just 42 deliveries, featuring seven boundaries and nine sixes.


Shashank Singh also contributed significantly, remaining unbeaten with a score of 52 off 36 balls.


In response, the Chennai Super Kings struggled despite a solid start, with Devon Conway scoring 69 runs off 49 balls before retiring out. Shivam Dube and Rachin Ravindran added 42 and 36 runs, respectively.
