Khesari Lal Yadav, known professionally as Shatrughan Kumar Yadav, is a prominent Indian actor, singer, dancer, and model primarily active in the Bhojpuri film industry. He has appeared in over 70 films and has lent his voice to more than 5,000 songs.


Bihar Elections Heating Up

The first phase of voting in Bihar is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, and political parties are making every effort to attract voters. Concurrently, verbal clashes have intensified in Bihar's political arena. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders from various parties are exchanging sharp criticisms on the campaign stage.


Conflict Between Khesari Lal Yadav and Pawan Singh

Tensions are also evident between BJP leader and singer-actor Pawan Singh and RJD leader Khesari Lal Yadav. The RJD has fielded Khesari Lal Yadav as a candidate from Chapra, while Pawan Singh is actively campaigning in favor of the NDA in the state. Recently, Pawan Singh made a pointed remark about Khesari, prompting a strong rebuttal from the RJD candidate.


Khesari Lal Yadav's Response

In response to Pawan Singh's comments, Yadav stated that they have always shared a brotherly bond. However, he emphasized that admiration does not equate to deification. He remarked that true stature is determined by actions, not claims. Khesari mentioned that he has refrained from personal attacks, but felt compelled to respond due to Pawan's personal remarks.


Pawan Singh's Retort

Following Khesari's comments, Pawan Singh retaliated sharply, asserting, "I know his true nature... Should I say that in the name of making stars, he has ruined 500 lives? I don't want to say such things right now... I will discuss this later."


Bihar Assembly Elections 2025

Earlier this month, the Election Commission announced the schedule for the Bihar Assembly elections. Voting for the 243 assembly seats will take place in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with counting set for November 14. The NDA, led by the BJP and JD(U), will face off against the RJD, led by Tejashwi Yadav, along with the Congress, CPI(ML) led by Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI, CPM, and Mukesh Sahni's VIP. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Party has also announced candidates for all 243 seats.
