Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Department of Higher Education has revealed that the application window for Plus-III course admissions for the 2025-26 academic year will open on April 16, according to a recent announcement.

The admission process will adhere to the guidelines set forth by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students interested in enrolling in Plus-III degree programs throughout the state must submit their applications through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. Classes for Plus-III courses are slated to begin on July 10.

Furthermore, the undergraduate admission framework will provide students with enhanced flexibility in their academic pursuits, in line with NEP 2020. Students will have several options to choose from, including:

• A single major with two minors


• A combination of two majors


• A choice of three minor subjects
