Nitin Gadkari Urges Bihar Voters to Support NDA Amidst Political Jibes

In a recent rally, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari urged Bihar voters to support the NDA, labeling the opposition coalition as ineffective. He promised significant infrastructure improvements, likening Bihar's roads to those in the U.S. Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath criticized the Mahagathbandhan leaders, comparing them to the three monkeys of folklore. As the first phase of assembly elections approaches, the political landscape in Bihar intensifies, with both alliances gearing up for a crucial face-off.

Gadkari's Call to Action for Bihar Voters

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has characterized the 'Mahagathbandhan' as "Anje, Panje, Ganje" while appealing to voters in Bihar to back the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates. He asserted that this coalition would generate enough "electrical current" to eliminate the opposition in the state. Speaking at a rally in Manjhi, Gadkari emphasized that both the Bihar and central governments are collaborating as a "double engine" for the state's development. He stated, "Our capital express is running at full speed; on election day, your only task is to wave the green flag. Press the button on the arrow symbol, and the current will be so strong that 'Anje, Panje, Ganje' will disappear."

Political Commentary on the Mahagathbandhan

Gadkari further mentioned that world-class roads and highways are being constructed in Bihar, promising that they will rival those in the United States. He expressed confidence that the day is not far when he would make Bihar's roads as good as those in America, stating, "I will build magnificent bridges one after another; there is no difficulty in that." On the same day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath took a jab at the Mahagathbandhan, claiming they have summoned "three monkeys" for their campaign.

Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Adityanath remarked that these leaders are blind, deaf, and mute to the realities of development in Bihar, akin to the three monkeys who "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." He humorously referred to the coalition as having brought forth three monkeys named Pappu, Tappu, and Appu (referring to Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav). Adityanath stated, "Pappu cannot speak the truth or say anything good. Tappu cannot see the truth, and Appu cannot hear it," during a public meeting in Kevati, Bihar.

As the campaigning for the first phase of the state assembly elections comes to a close this evening, the NDA and Mahagathbandhan are set to face off against each other.
