Navneet Rana Clarifies Her Position
Former MP Navneet Rana from Amaravati has addressed rumors regarding her potential candidacy for the Rajya Sabha, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In a recent post, she stated, 'I am a dedicated and honest worker of the BJP, operating under the guidance of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the fearless Home Minister Amit Shah, and the dynamic leader of Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Therefore, I will not change my ideology for any position. I will continue to work sincerely for the BJP.'
Expressions of Support from NCP Leaders
Rana mentioned that Supriya and Parth Pawar had expressed their desire to send her to the Rajya Sabha, considering her work and capabilities. She expressed gratitude for their trust in her. Recently, she met Supriya Pawar at Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's residence in Mumbai, where she was informed that accepting the Rajya Sabha nomination would require her to join the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), a condition she was unwilling to accept.
Gratitude for Consideration
She reiterated her appreciation for Ajit and Parth Pawar's willingness to consider her for the Rajya Sabha position. However, she could not agree to the condition of joining the NCP to accept the nomination. Following the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, she approached Ajit Pawar to request that the NCP's Rajya Sabha seat be vacated for the BJP. Unfortunately, this request could not be fulfilled for unspecified reasons. Nevertheless, she remains thankful for the opportunity and consideration shown by the Pawar leaders.
