Outstanding Performance at the Championships

India's impressive streak continued at the U23 Asian Championships held at the Tien Son Sport Centre in Da Nang, Vietnam, where athletes Mansi Lather, Kajal, and Sumit secured gold medals on the second day of the event.


Gold Medal Highlights

Mansi showcased her skills in the 68kg final, achieving a decisive 14-1 victory against Uzbekistan's Firuza Esenbaeva. Kajal also delivered an outstanding performance in the 76kg category, winning 10-0 against Kyrgyzstan's Aizharkyn Zhanybekova. Additionally, Greco-Roman wrestler Sumit claimed the 63kg title with a commanding 12-2 win over Uzbekistan's Ozodbek Khalilboev.


Medal Count: Silver and Bronze

In addition to the three gold medals, the Indian team earned two silver and three bronze medals.
