Jewelry Heist in Jamshedpur

In Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, four individuals have been apprehended in connection with the theft of jewelry valued at 16 lakhs. This information was confirmed by local police.


A police official stated that the victim, Mahesh Goud, filed a complaint on December 1, which led to the registration of a case under relevant sections of the law. The arrests were made on Saturday following this complaint.


According to Rishabh Garg, the Superintendent of Police (Rural), the burglary occurred while Goud's family was attending a wedding ceremony on the night of December 29.


He further mentioned that the thieves made off with approximately 16 lakhs worth of gold and silver jewelry. During the investigation, police managed to arrest four suspects and recover some of the stolen jewelry.
