Delay in Ladli Behna Yojana's 23rd Installment Sparks Curiosity

Anticipation Grows for the 23rd Installment:  The phrase, "Ladli sisters, the 10th date is approaching..." has become synonymous with the program. However, the expected installment for April did not arrive on the 10th. This has led to widespread discussions across the state, with many sisters wondering when the funds will be disbursed. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has no scheduled events related to the Ladli Behna Yojana on April 10, which explains the absence of funds today. Consequently, many are now looking forward to the next three days.

Possible Dates for the 23rd Installment:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ashoknagar on April 11, which could be the day the funds are transferred to the sisters' accounts. Additionally, Hanuman Jayanti falls on April 12, a significant day that might also see the government releasing the funds. If neither of these dates works out, Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Madhya Pradesh on April 13 could be another opportunity for the installment to be sent.

Previous Delays:

This isn't the first instance of the Ladli Behna Yojana's funds not being disbursed on the 10th. For example, the 10th installment was sent on March 1 (Mahashivratri), the 11th on April 5 (Gudi Padwa), the 12th on May 4, 2024 (during elections), and the 17th on October 5 (Sharadiya Navratri).

Increase in Monthly Assistance? Not at This Time!

The assembly has clarified that there are currently no plans to raise the monthly assistance from Rs 1250 to Rs 3000.

Names Removed from the Portal:

The Women and Child Development Minister reported in the assembly that 15,748 women have been removed from the program due to death, and 319,991 women over the age of 60 have also been automatically excluded from the portal.
