A startling incident occurred at the renowned Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. On Monday morning, during a safari in Zone 4, the brakes of a vehicle filled with tourists suddenly failed. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported among the tourists, preventing a potentially serious accident.

According to officials from the forest department, park staff and security personnel quickly arrived at the scene after receiving the report and managed the situation effectively. All tourists were safely relocated to a secure area.

Investigation Findings

Manas Singh, the deputy conservator of the Ranthambore Tiger Project, indicated that initial investigations revealed negligence on the part of the driver and errors in vehicle operation. Thankfully, no tourists sustained serious injuries.

He emphasized that the safety of tourists is the top priority, leading to the immediate suspension of the driver and the safari vehicle involved. The forest department reassured that the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve administration is fully committed to ensuring tourist safety, mandating strict adherence to rules and safety standards for all tourism vehicles and drivers.

Following this incident, the forest department issued an alert for all safari vehicles operating in the park. The administration of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve made it clear that there will be no compromises when it comes to the safety of tourists.
