Baghpat FC Crowned Champions

Baghpat FC has successfully secured the I-League 3 title for the 2025-26 season, earning a spot in I-League 2 for the upcoming 2026-27 season. They were confirmed champions with a match remaining, although they lost their final game 0-1 to Sunrise Club Orissa at Khuman Lampak Stadium, as reported by AIFF Media.


FC Raengdai Claims Second Promotion Spot

FC Raengdai finished as runners-up, also gaining promotion after their playoff match in Imphal on Sunday. The decisive goal for Sunrise Club Orissa came from Faslurahman Methukayil in the 54th minute, but despite this victory, Sunrise ended the season in third place, remaining unbeaten throughout.


Final Day Match-Ups

At the SAI Stadium in Imphal, FC Raengdai secured their promotion by defeating KLASA FC 1-0, thanks to a second-half goal from Kamei Langanglung Kabui. In another match, TRAU FC and Chhaygaon FC ended in a 2-2 draw, with TRAU initially leading by two goals before Chhaygaon equalized.


Final Playoffs Standings

The final standings of the playoffs saw Sunrise Club Orissa in third with nine points, KLASA FC in fourth with six points, TRAU FC in fifth with three points, and Chhaygaon FC at the bottom with one point.

Ningombam Engson Singh from Baghpat FC and Midul Doley of Chhaygaon FC were the top scorers, each netting six goals. Faslurahman Methukayil from Sunrise Club Orissa followed with five goals, while Moirangthem Diya Singh from TRAU FC and Aimso Chithung from Baghpat each scored four.
