A Call to Action for Bihar's Voters
On Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, encouraged the people of Bihar to participate actively in the voting process and to back the youth leadership of Tejashwi Yadav from the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
While addressing a public gathering in Nawada, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh stated, 'I urge the people of Bihar to step out, vote in large numbers, support jobs, and back the new generation represented by Tejashwi.'
Strong Criticism of Yogi Adityanath
Akhilesh Yadav launched a fierce critique against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his campaign in Bihar.
He remarked, 'Do not trust Yogi. Despite being in power, he lies about everything. How can those who fail to pay farmers and provide jobs to the youth come here asking for votes? They were just defeated in UP, where the people rejected them. I am saying this because they lost in Awadh and will face the same fate in Magadh. The public is embracing the new leadership of Tejashwi.'
He also addressed economic inequality, noting that the wealth of the top 1% has surged by 62% today.
Concerns Over Vote Theft and Fraud
In response to Rahul Gandhi's recent claims about vote theft in Haryana, Akhilesh Yadav expressed concerns about potential electoral fraud in Bihar as well.
He stated, 'This is not a new issue. Nowadays, it is essential for people to secure their votes and ensure they cast them. I have heard that in Bihar, people are being advised to stay home and not vote. This was the same tactic used in Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, people must protect their votes and ensure they are cast properly.'
