Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Shine Together at Tribeca Festival
A Star-Studded Red Carpet Moment
Pop icon Katy Perry and former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, made their debut as a couple on the red carpet at the Tribeca Festival.
The duo was photographed on June 8 during the premiere of Perry's concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris, held in New York City.
Trudeau joined Perry in celebrating the film's launch, which showcases her recent global tour.
For the occasion, Perry dazzled in a white halter-neck gown featuring rose-inspired embellishments, complemented by an elegant updo.
Trudeau chose a timeless black suit paired with a crisp white shirt, appearing cheerful as Perry interacted with fans and answered questions from the press on the red carpet.
In an interview at the premiere, Perry shared insights on how this film contrasts with her earlier documentary, Part of Me. She stated, "This is very different than Part of Me," explaining, "That was more of a documentary about my life, and this is really a concert experience at the highest level for the fans."
Perry highlighted that this project is a tribute to her loyal fans, saying, "I mean, I’m doing all of this for my fans because they are the ones that have helped me along for all these years, over 18 years, and it’s just such a fun thing to encapsulate." She also noted the tour's energy was "incredible." This red carpet appearance marks nearly a year since Perry and Trudeau began their relationship in the summer of 2025.
