Kartik Aaryan Begins Filming Naagzilla
New Delhi: Actor Kartik Aaryan has officially kicked off the shooting for his latest film, Naagzilla, as announced by the production team on Tuesday.
Described as a unique fantasy comedy, Naagzilla is helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for his work on the Fukrey series, with a screenplay crafted by Gautam Mehra.
The film is a collaboration between Mahaveer Jain Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, who shared a behind-the-scenes video from the first day of filming on their official Instagram account.
The post read, "We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity and too much! In cinemas 14th August, 2026."
The film, which was first revealed in April, is backed by a team of producers including Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Sujit Jain, and Lamba.
Kartik Aaryan's most recent appearance was in the 2024 release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and he also starred in Chandu Champion, for which he received a Filmfare award.
Upcoming projects for Aaryan include Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Ananya Panday, set to hit theaters on December 25, directed by Sameer Vidwans.
Additionally, he will collaborate with filmmaker Anurag Basu on another project alongside Sreeleela.
