Market Valuation Insights: TCS and Infosys Lead Gains Amidst Mixed Performance

New Delhi: The total market capitalization of five of the ten most valuable companies increased by Rs 72,284.74 crore last week, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys leading the charge.
Among the firms that saw gains were Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and Bajaj Finance, while Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, Larsen & Toubro, and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) experienced declines in their valuations.
During the past week, the BSE index recorded a slight increase of 5.7 points, whereas the NSE Nifty fell by 16.5 points.
TCS's market valuation rose by Rs 35,909.52 crore, bringing its total to Rs 11,71,862.37 crore.
Infosys saw its market cap increase by Rs 23,404.55 crore, reaching Rs 6,71,366.53 crore.
Bajaj Finance's valuation grew by Rs 6,720.28 crore to Rs 6,52,396.39 crore, and Bharti Airtel's market cap edged up by Rs 3,791.9 crore to Rs 12,01,832.74 crore.
ICICI Bank's market capitalization rose by Rs 2,458.49 crore, totaling Rs 9,95,184.46 crore.
Conversely, Reliance Industries' valuation dropped by Rs 35,116.76 crore, now standing at Rs 20,85,218.71 crore.
LIC's market cap decreased by Rs 15,559.49 crore to Rs 5,50,021.80 crore.
The valuation of State Bank of India fell by Rs 7,522.96 crore to Rs 8,96,662.19 crore, while HDFC Bank's market cap slid by Rs 5,724.03 crore to Rs 15,43,019.64 crore.
Larsen & Toubro's market capitalization dipped by Rs 4,185.39 crore, now at Rs 5,55,459.56 crore.
Currently, Reliance Industries holds the title of the most valuable domestic company, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, TCS, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, and LIC.
