On May 31, RCB claimed their second consecutive IPL championship, triumphing over Gujarat Titans by five wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This victory marked RCB as only the third team in IPL history, following Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, to defend their title successfully.

In a video shared on X, Kohli reminisced about the team's journey throughout the season, emphasizing the strong camaraderie among the players.
"We began the season with confidence and concluded with back-to-back titles. This team experienced every emotion together—the highs, the pressures, the challenges, and the unwavering support. It feels particularly special because... this place is HOME!" Kohli expressed.
RCB's Dominance in the Final
The RCB team, led by Rajat Patidar, showcased a comprehensive performance in the final. They restricted Gujarat Titans to a score of 155/8 in their 20 overs and successfully chased down the target with five wickets remaining and two overs to spare. Kohli played a pivotal role, scoring an unbeaten 75 runs off 42 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes, ensuring a comfortable victory despite a late resurgence from Gujarat.
Gujarat Titans' Struggles
Gujarat Titans faced difficulties in gaining momentum after being asked to bat first. Washington Sundar was the standout performer for them, scoring an unbeaten 50 runs off 37 balls, while Nishant Sindhu added 20 runs. RCB's bowling was spearheaded by Rasikh Dar Salam, who took 3 wickets for 27 runs, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood contributing with two wickets each.
