At the Asia Pickleball Tournament held on June 7, Vietnam's Hoang Nam Ly teamed up with Roos Van Reek to secure the mixed doubles championship by defeating Harsh Mehta and Nicola Schoeman. The final score was 17-21, 21-9, 21-11, marking a significant achievement for both players.

This victory was particularly meaningful for Nam Ly, as it was his first gold medal of the tournament after previously finishing as a runner-up in two finals. For Van Reek, this win completed a remarkable triple crown, having already claimed titles in women's singles and doubles.

The match began with a tightly contested first game, which saw a pivotal moment when Nam Ly called a ball out at a 10-10 tie. After a challenge from Mehta and Schoeman, the referee ruled the ball in, giving their opponents an 11-10 lead.
