However, the team Purani Dilli 6 has encountered a significant challenge as their captain and star player, Rishabh Pant, has been ruled out due to injury. During the fourth Test match against England, Pant sustained a foot injury from a ball, leading to hospitalization where scans revealed a fractured toe.


Vansh Bedi Takes the Helm for Purani Dilli 6

Despite medical advice for six weeks of rest, Pant participated in the fourth Test but was subsequently sidelined for the remainder of the series and the DPL. In light of this, Purani Dilli 6 has appointed 22-year-old Vansh Bedi as the new captain. Bedi had an impressive performance in the previous DPL season, scoring 221 runs at an average of 44.5, making him one of the standout players. He was also acquired by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the IPL 2025 season, although he did not play any matches, being signed for INR 55 lakh. Now, he will lead Purani Dilli 6 in Pant's absence.
