Chaitanya Pandey, a golfer from Delhi, secured victory at the IGU North East Amateur Golf Championship 2025, finishing with rounds of 72, 71, 68, and 72 at the Par-71 Jorhat Gymkhana Club. The event took place from December 2 to 5, 2025, organized by the Indian Golf Union (IGU).


Narrow Margin of Victory

With a total score of 1-under 283, Chaitanya edged out fellow competitor Deepak Yadav, who finished as the runner-up despite achieving a commendable final round score of 2-under 69, marking his personal best in the tournament. Both Arin Ahuja (73-73-71-68) and Anshul Mishra (74-68-72-71) tied for third place, each finishing at one-over 285.

"I am extremely pleased to have won the IGU North East Amateur Championship. It was a challenging competition with Deepak, Arin, and Anshul closely pursuing me.
