The ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol 2025 is set to commence in Cairo on Thursday, featuring a strong 40-member shooting team from India, highlighted by Paris 2024 medallists Manu Bhaker and Swapnil Kusale. This prestigious event will see 720 shooters from 72 federations competing at the Egypt International Olympic City, with the championship concluding on November 17.

Indian shooters have demonstrated remarkable performance in various World Cup events this year, securing a total of eight medals in Buenos Aires, seven in Lima, four in Munich, and two in Ningbo.
