Shooting Incident in Gauriganj

On Monday, a 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident involving motorcycle-riding assailants in the Mansapur Gujratol village of the Amethi district, according to police reports.

As per the police, two armed individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on Ankit Singh outside the village of Painga, resulting in injuries to his arms and legs.

Knowledgeable sources, including Amethi's Additional Superintendent of Police, Gyanendra Singh, stated that Singh received initial treatment at the district hospital in Gauriganj before being transferred to a trauma center in Lucknow. Fortunately, his condition is reported to be stable.

To apprehend the suspects, Superintendent of Police Aparna Rajat Kaushik has formed three teams.
