Yogi Adityanath Critiques Opposition Leaders

Patna: On Monday, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, launched a fierce critique of the INDIA alliance, mockingly labeling three of its prominent leaders as “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu.”

Speaking at an election rally in Darbhanga's Kewati Assembly constituency, he directed his comments towards the Congress, RJD, and SP parties.

In a reference to Mahatma Gandhi's three wise monkeys, Adityanath stated, “Gandhi had three monkeys: one who doesn’t speak lies, one who doesn’t listen to wrong words, and one who doesn’t see wrong things. Similarly, the INDI alliance has three monkeys—Pappu, Tappu, and Appu. Pappu can’t speak the truth, Tappu can’t see the truth, and Appu can’t hear the truth.”

He accused Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, of making disparaging remarks about India during his trips abroad.

Adityanath also criticized the RJD, claiming that Bihar experienced rampant violence and chaos during Lalu Prasad Yadav's governance.

“Between 1990 and 2005, there were 70 massacres under the RJD government. Naxalite activities peaked, and caste-based organizations were formed, inciting conflict among communities,” he asserted.

He reiterated his slogan, “Batoge to Katoge and Ek Rahoge Safe Rahoge,” emphasizing the need for unity.

The Chief Minister asserted that only a government led by the NDA could facilitate Bihar's swift development.

He highlighted the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the ongoing work on Goddess Janki’s temple in Sitamarhi as significant cultural initiatives under the NDA.

He mentioned that the Ram–Janki Corridor, linking Ayodhya and Sitamarhi, is being developed rapidly.

Adityanath claimed that improvements in infrastructure have significantly reduced travel time between Lucknow and Darbhanga from 16 hours to just 45 minutes, showcasing the effectiveness of a double-engine government.

He also noted that law and order in Bihar has improved since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office, leading to a period of peace in the state.

He praised Modi for recognizing Mithila’s cultural identity by establishing the Makhana Board.

In his attack on the opposition, Adityanath alleged that during the RJD-Congress rule, essential rations meant for the underprivileged were misappropriated.

He concluded by stating that the abrogation of Article 370 under Modi's leadership now allows individuals from Bihar to settle in Jammu and Kashmir without restrictions.
