On Sunday, T Dilip, the fielding coach for the Indian men's cricket team, paid a visit to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple located in Tirumala, Tirupati district. During his visit, he offered prayers at the temple.


Upcoming Matches Against Afghanistan

T Dilip will be actively involved as India prepares to face Afghanistan in a one-off Test followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The Test match is scheduled to commence on June 6, while the ODI series will take place from June 14 to June 20.


Squad Announcements for India vs Afghanistan

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the upcoming matches on May 19. Shubman Gill will captain the team in both formats, with KL Rahul serving as vice-captain for the Test matches, stepping in for Rishabh Pant. Shreyas Iyer has been appointed as vice-captain for the ODI format.

Prominent players such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul are set to return to the top order for the blue jersey. Ishan Kishan has been selected as the wicketkeeper for the squad.
