Rajasthan Weather Update: Unseasonal Rains to Cease, Dry Conditions Expected from November 5

Unseasonal Rain Continues in Rajasthan

Rajasthan is currently experiencing a spell of unseasonal rainfall. Due to the activation of a western disturbance, several districts in the state received rain today. Ajmer recorded 23 millimeters of rainfall. The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for Jhunjhunu and Churu districts, indicating the possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms within the next three hours.


Forecast for November 3 and 4

The Jaipur Meteorological Center has predicted rain in various districts on November 3 and 4. According to the department, the ongoing rainfall is attributed to a new western disturbance. However, it is expected that this rainy phase will soon come to an end. The meteorological center has indicated that from November 5, most areas in the state will experience dry weather.


Significant Rainfall Recorded in Tonk

The weather department noted that over the next week, northern winds are likely to cause a drop in temperatures by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. However, there are no warnings for rain during this period. In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was observed in parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, and Jaipur divisions, with the highest rainfall of 55 millimeters recorded in Deoli, Tonk.


Clear Weather Expected for a Week

From November 5, the weather across the state is expected to remain clear for the following week. The meteorological department has reported that a circulation system associated with a western disturbance is present over northern Pakistan and nearby areas. Additionally, another circulation system is located over Haryana and its surroundings. However, no rain warnings are anticipated in the coming days.


Cold Weather Approaching

Meteorologists predict that severe cold weather is likely to set in by the end of November this year. Experts believe that temperatures may drop more than usual. The weather department has also indicated a significant decrease in temperatures due to cold winds coming from the Himalayas in the upcoming days.
