Chlorine Gas Incident in Javra, Ratlam

In Javra city, located in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, a chlorine gas leak from a factory has resulted in five individuals falling ill, including three firefighters. This information was confirmed by a senior district official.


District Collector Meesha Singh reported that the incident occurred at a facility producing ferric sulfate, situated approximately 35 kilometers from Ratlam in an industrial area.


Emergency teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the fire department quickly arrived at the scene to contain the leak. Singh noted that two factory workers and three firefighters experienced health issues and were subsequently hospitalized, but all are now reported to be out of danger.
