Bihar Chief Minister Emphasizes Student Welfare and Streamlines Industrial Approvals
Key Directives for Coaching Institutions in Bihar
Bihar's Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, has prioritized the interests of students by issuing significant directives to the education department regarding coaching operations. He emphasized that all coaching centers must provide details of their enrolled students to the respective district administration. In a post on social media, the Chief Minister reiterated the importance of student welfare in the state's educational framework.
Regulations for Coaching Operations
Chaudhary stated that coaching institutions are prohibited from operating during the designated teaching hours set for schools and colleges. This rule, however, does not apply to students who have completed their regular schooling or college education. The education department has been tasked with formulating guidelines to ensure discipline, transparency, and quality in the educational system.
Streamlining Industrial Approvals
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister announced that all necessary approvals related to industrial and investment activities must now be granted within 30 days. He indicated that if the relevant department or authority fails to make a decision within this timeframe, the application will be automatically approved. This initiative aims to accelerate industrial development in Bihar, create substantial employment opportunities, and enhance the state's economic self-reliance.
Simplifying the Process for Establishing Industries
Chaudhary noted that the process for setting up industries in Bihar has been made more straightforward and convenient compared to previous procedures. The government is committed to making all processes related to industrial establishment transparent, timely, and investor-friendly.
